I met Jhan just two years ago, but it was as if I had known him for ages. The medical explanation was herniation as a result of intracranial hemorrhage. Maybe one of her distant relatives a hundred years ago was German. All the "good" people are leaving us. A friendly face. I will never forget him. His injury caused hemorrhaging in his brain which led to him being put on life support.

Germany was the pinnacle of humanism, and yet it brought us to Treblinka. Some survivors tell their kids everything. Moskowitz fell and hit his head in the subway on Tuesday. All this past weekend he has been on my mind and I felt the tug of sending him a message on FB. I go to look him up so I can follow his teachings further. Knowing the pain and suffering my parents endured meant that I could not complain about incidental problems.

He thought it was so strange, my special skill, and always loved me. This man said my father saved his life, and the lives of many others. Moskowitz co-founded Jews for Jesus' mobile evangelistic drama team, the New Jerusalem Players, and toured the United States as leader of that team for several years. Moskowitz was one of the "original" Jews for Jesus volunteers, even before the organisation's incorporation in Jhan loved the God of our fathers with all of his heart.

I will never forget how I was forever touched by this humble servant. Jhan lives in my heart. Thankful one of God's promises are to reunite His family, very soon I wish I'd known him better but I will never forget him.
